Redcliffe Gardens was a refurbishment project for a private client's second home in London. The style of this project was quite classic - the client wished to retain some of the period features of the building such as the fire place and ceiling roses. We also fit custom joinery in the living room and bedroom and created custom designs for the headboard and curtains.

In the living room, we designed custom radiator covers and fitted cabinets with LED lighting and space to hide electronic equipment and cables. We retained the original ceiling rose and kept the chandelier in the classic period style, but fitted new, modern but minimal wall lights for indirect light effects.

The furniture is from well-known Italian brands such as B&B Italia, Flexform and Poliform. The rugs are custom made by Tai Ping rugs. We also sourced antique decorative pieces such as the side tables in the living room and even the beautful De Stijl style painting from antique shops on Pimlico Road. The mirrors are from Linley.

To emphasise the intricately detailed period coving in the living room, we painted a contrasting line of grey in the middle of the coving to draw focus to the details.

In the bedrooms, custom joinery was installed around the bed to create more storage. The beds were custom made in Switzerland and shipped to the UK. The headboards were custom made, with piping to match. New wall lights with matching shades were fitted and the blinds and curtains are bespoke using fabrics from Dedar and Rubelli.
