Balcombe street was a Grade II Listed town house refurbishment in Marylebone. The brief of the Project was to create a modern interior, at the same time respecting the period style of the house.

Top floor layout was altered to accommodate a new walk-through en-suite shower room, that connected two rooms together: an office and a lounge, that would also be used as a guest bedroom during friends and family visits.

The ensuite bathroom floors and shower area were finished in microcement to achieve sleek and contemporary look. Despite the small size of the room concealed mirror storage was fitted above the WC and a recessed wall niche was integrated into the shower area.

Bespoke TV joinery with sliding doors was designed and fitted in the lounge. Sliding doors allowed to hide the TV and reveal the bookshelves, when needed. The joinery piece also had a built-in modern ethanol fireplace.

First floor layout was also changed to create a Master en-suite bathroom accessible from the Master bedroom. Master bedroom benefited from new bespoke wardrobes, that had secret doors leading to the bathroom. Master en-suite bathroom floors and wet areas were finished in microcement. Walk-in shower had a recessed seating and a storage space that was built into an existing alcove next to the old chimney breast. A hidden recessed mirror storage was fitted above the basin and a concrete pendant light was fitted next to it to highlight the industrial sophisticated theme. Zucchetti sanitaryware was used in all bathrooms.

Master bedroom was designed in grey tones, featuring Le Corbusier dots wallpaper behind the bed. Design accents were achieved by brass elements, such as power sockets, wardrobe handles and bedside pendant lights.

Kitchen and a dining room on the ground floor of the flat were connected to create one open-plan sociable space. Kitchen cabinets were ordered in a white finish to allow more light reflection in the space. Rear Conservatory was redecorated and updated with new summer inspired furniture.
