BAYSWATER MEWS, NOTTING HILL
BEFORE AND AFTER
Interior design studio
Bayswater Mews was a bathroom refurbishment project in a Mews in Notting Hill, London. The Client’s brief was to create a new white and minimalistic wetroom style bathroom.
Pure white 600x600mm tiles from Villeroy and Boch were fitted on a shower wall and behind the basin. Grey tiles of the same size, but with a bit of a natural pattern, were fitted on the floor. Walls with no tiles were protected with a wooden skirting and painted with waterproof white paint.
Custom made basin unit with a corian top and basin was imported from Italy. Cabinet’s drawers with a 45 Degree angle allowed achieving a sleek and seamless look. The large-format mirror was cut and installed in one piece. LED lighting strips were installed above and below the mirror to allow for good make-up lighting.
Floor to ceiling shower glass was installed using invisible support channels. Linear stainless steel shower drain helped to bring the minimal look of the bathroom together.
