Multifonds is a leading company in investment fund software for alternative and traditional funds, with worldwide offices.

Ardesia Design completed the design for the new offices in Bangalore, India, which began as an empty shell office block, amounting to a total of 4,000sqm. The design had to accommodate for various spaces from canteens to engineer's cubicles, to corporate meeting rooms and private staff lounges.

The design itself references the company colours and logo design in a simple and corporate, clean-cut design. The colour scheme is all in blue, white and black with custom-designed graphics for the walls - a more formal map design for the corporate areas and some colourful images that reference the office's location in Bangalore, India for the more relaxed spaces.

The office chairs are from Herman Miller. Wooden tables and chairs and custom made benches were used to inject some Scandinavian warmth in keeping with the corporate design to some of the more 'relaxed' areas of the office, such as the staff lounge and reception waiting area. The white corian reception desk was also custom made.

As well as the design itself, the logistics of designing an office for 3,000 staff with technical requirements for computers, server management and security access required careful and detailed consideration and research to gain a level of understanding of the ergonomics of a large scale office.

Ardesia Design was also involved with the project management for the implementation of the design, liaising with local contractors and specialist technical engineers.
